Hey there, bird ...!
A belated "Welcome!" to the ePrompter users' forum given that you signed up in September and this is your first post!!
I would expect that installing ePrompter in Windows 7 should be no different than the success that others have had putting it on Vista.
However, I don't know how it would behave on a 64-bit system (you said 36-bit, but I think you meant to say 64).
Is yours a 32- or 64-bit processor?

Appreciate the welcome. It is 64-bit. I'm coming from using Windows XP 32-bit computer. I have some bad experiences trying to make older stuff work on newer operating systems so I'm trying to be more careful. Do you know for sure it works on Windows 7 64-bit? If I try it and it doesn't work, will I be able to do a clean uninstall?

bird,
Thanks for the clarification!
First off, for uninstall instructions, go to http://www.eprompter.com/faqs.htm#q3
Please note that those are for XP, but the idea behind what's required should apply to Win7.
As for making older programs compatible on newer Windows versions, there's always a compatibility tab on an EXE file (right-click the file and choose "Properties") in Windows since XP was released that allows you to run the program in an emulation mode of an earlier version of the OS. From what users have reported about installing eP on Vista, they've not required that option.
If you encounter any weird behavior after installing the program, check the posts in the "Vista and Windows 7" subforum first to see if any of them apply to your situation.
Please let us know how it works out for you!
Cheers!!

On installing got the dialog box for ePrompter: Enter information for account login and password here: ... Click next button kept getting me Dialog box for Windows Help and Support a number times. Same thing happens when adding additional accounts.
Except for this minor nagging reminder about Windows help, when adding accounts setup, it works for reading and deleting emails. Happy!
