q.com problems? Email from Qwest not working om EP

We just changed our email provider to Qwest. Our addresses are now all xxx@q.com,, which, if I understand correctly, is a partner with Live.com, seeing as that is what they instructed me to use as my pop severs when I set up OE 6; pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com.
None of the addresses are working in EP, though I am having no trouble with OE6.
I searched the forums but couldn't find anything about problems with this one.
I have tried setting them all up as New accounts, and tried using the full address as login etc., but nothing works. Is there something that I am missing, or is this part of the problem with the various providers, and there is nothing I can do?
Thanks.

Hi, Mr. Owen, and welcome to the forum.
Thanks in advance for your patience as the developers work on ePrompter.

If I may add, this is what Qwest's tech support documentation says about configuring the mail servers:
Incoming Server: pop3.live.com (SSL enabled)
Outgoing Server: smtp.live.com (SSL enabled, requires authentication)
At present, eP doesn't support SSL although OE does.

Until eP will work with SSL, is there another utility that is fairly similar to eP that would temporarily fill the bill? I have tried a few: Pop Peeper, Mail Shower, and DynAdvance, but none of them, nor any others that I have seen yet, have the quite convenient desktop utility, as does eP.
I even tried DLing and installing LiveMail (from Qwest), and although it did--sort of--work, it didn't import all of the messages, and none of the folders from my different accounts, currently residing on OE6.
Oh well. Maybe that's enough rambling for one day.
Thanks again.

What I neglected to mention earlier was that eP has been made to work by some enterprising users.
See this thread which describes the use of Stunnel with eP:

One of our moderators, chrisretusn, is a "resident expert" with Stunnel and he can assist you with that if you are feeling adventurous!
Good luck ...!!
